Restaurant Clothes

OMG, I was so embarrassed!

Let me fill you in. I just got back to my dorm room, where I went out with my new friends to go to a restaurant together. Naked. Or at least, I was. My friends (except Miranda who had gotten dress coded) were clothed in typical stuff a girl at the college would wear.

I had a pretty sheltered home life, because my family lives in the middle of nowhere and didn’t really teach me about the wider world until after I graduated high school and was preparing to come here. While I was well-prepared for the dress code, there was a lot of things I took for granted.

Like what? Well, you see, going to a restaurant with clothes on is very weird to me. The only one in my hometown is this one called Ruth’s, which like most places there is pretty chill about nudity.

I don’t mean that customers can come in naked, that’s basically every store. No, I mean that you basically have to. Guests can wear whatever you want, but if you wear clothes then all the prices are +75% more! And this is kind of a poor town, eating out is already a treat. Everyone in town eats at Ruth’s and everyone does it naked.

If you’re confused why the restaurant doesn’t just change their prices, think of it as a “tourist tax”. Occasionally visitors pass through, and they are willing to pay the higher rate in exchange for their prudishness. Missing out, if you ask me.

Anyways, I grew up just being used to being naked when we went out to eat. It was just normal! I guess some habits are hard to break.

Oh no, not everyone was naked at the restaurant. You need to distinguish the waitstaff after all. Now regular restaurants have the servers wear panties under, but at Ruth’s all the waitresses wore naked aprons. It was a cute, mostly white design that honestly felt pretty good on the skin while working. You barely felt naked at all.

Oh did I not tell you? I was one of the lucky girls when I was in high school, I got one of the couple open positions there! It was a fun job, though it was hard work.

No no, it was all family-friendly. Just because everyone is showing some skin doesn’t make it adult, you know! Well, us girls did earn some extra for blowjobs or sex in the back room, but that wasn’t officially on the menu, it doesn’t count.

But I think you get my point. For me, you just go to restaurants nude! So when my friends wanted us to all have a nice time at that burger place near the lakefront, I didn’t think twice about showing up butt naked.

You would think that I wouldn’t be embarrassed, after all I just told you my experience with nudity in restaurants, but, well. When I greeted my friends they didn’t say anything. I guess, they assumed I had gotten dress coded like Miranda had. And I assumed they were going to take off their clothes outside the restaurant. There’s a good chance of them getting stolen if you leave them outside, but I don’t know, I just wasn’t thinking.

Then when we stepped inside, I realized. There are clothed people here. This isn’t Ruth’s.

And I was so self-conscious the whole time!

Nobody said anything, of course. Miranda, Sandra (who was topless) and I all had visible boobs, as did several other diners, but I felt embarrassed! And I honestly can’t tell you if it was the nudity in a new location, or simply that I had forgotten people normally wear clothes.
