Hello, my name’s Abby and I’d like to tell you about my best friend Ginger.
She is a great student and is always careful to follow the dress code. Here she is, sitting in class.
I like her a lot and always try to look out for her but sometimes, she just doesn’t listen to me. For instance, she is always sitting on her chair in a really bad way and I’m forever telling her to be careful otherwise she’ll fall off.
Well, it finally happened. One afternoon, she was rocking about in her chair as usual and she fell off, hitting the floor loudly.
She attracted the attention of the whole class who started laughing at her while she was still trying to work out what had just happened.
What made the situation worse was that she was now a bit dazed and confused and was struggling to get off the floor.
The class started to laugh harder at the sight of her in a muddle as she just could not get to her feet.
Eventually she righted herself but with the class still laughing at her misfortune (or stupidity), she wanted to hide away and stay as low as possible so that she wouldn’t be seen.
The lecturer ordered her back to her seat so he could continue the lesson but with the class still laughing she was feeling very embarrassed at what she had done and was blushing so much that she wanted to cover up her shame.
I was about to speak but before I could, she looked at me and said with a sigh, “I know what you’re about to say.”
“Don’t worry,” I said. “I won’t say I told you so.”
She looked at me riley and said, “you just did.”
